Goodness, I just realized I don't have these. Sorry!

How am I doing, and how can I get better at it?

I suppose I will join this cacophony in the wake of a vast amount of newcomers. Welcome, welcome, one and all, to the [A pause.] paradise that is Edensphere.

I am Lezard Valeth, Head Medic and Guide. Should you ever have need of medical assistance, the medics are happy to provide quick and exemplary care, be it by appointment or walk-in.

My last attempt failed to catch on, it would seem. Worry not, dear Edensphere, for I am patient and kind of heart! I will try once more.

I am a rather skilled sorcerer, and according to my little memo here I once taught classes. Those of you that suspect they may have some magical prowess - or were once my old students - may feel free to express their interest on this very page while I arrange the dates of our future meeting.

Until then, you know my name.

My schedule has been opening considerably, much to my advantage. Things are running quite smoothly, if I may say so myself, though I tire of the lack of cocoons hatching on my Guide shifts. At the very least, this tiresome summer has begun to come to an end... let's see the leaves change, shall we?

I do heavily favor the autumn. Perhaps I've had a good memory there... hmm.

I have been informed that I once instructed classes in the manner of magic. I find that I've been able to grasp and remember a fire spell or two since my untimely death, which is most unfortunate, as I've been told I was capable of much, much more.

Those of you who were my students, feel free to refresh my memory by writing here, or any new potentials who wish to see if they have magical tendencies or not. I will arrange a date for these classes to continue.

Until then, Praise and Crow, my dearest friends... we must catch up.

I must say I do enjoy this little quirk. The musical cue I enjoyed while walking through the halls at work today has done much to boost my ego! And here I thought nothing good would come out of a little bit of music, ha ha ha ha! It was delightfully sinister. I hope I hear more of it in the near future. Right now, all I hear is something catchy, but something that disallows me to get some sleep.

My dear, dear friend Praise. I have a blueprint to show you. This project shall be a load of fun~

[ooc: Imperial March. Need I say more? The second song is one of Lezard's two battle themes.]

[Written quickly and messily, as if he has need to be elsewhere.]

Ah, how fascinating! My greatest achievements thus far are learning so quickly!

Freya has taken to music, playing the harp whenever she can and teaching herself to sing. Very unlike her namesake, thankfully enough. Brunhild is a feisty one, and very much like the one she resembles: She has taken up the sword, and insists that I take her to the Wilderness for jousting. While the thought of her breaking twists my poor little heart, she has proven herself in combat time and time again... I dare say she will be victorious in her challenges. Dearest Idun, my third... she takes up gardening. My home is surrounded by the most beautiful flowers and fruit trees, and she is expecting Pink Lady apples to reach the perfect size very soon. Any attempts to sneak a fruit has earned me a swatted hand. She, too, is quite feisty, but I would have them no other way. She is quiet, however, and only seems to address me in short answers while she speaks for hours to the plants as she tends to them.

What fascinating little things, these, and I've grown accustomed to sitting in the garden and watching them do what they adore. I had a feeling my genius would produce results, but these three have developed mentally so quickly... perhaps I should begin preparations for the 200s. What shape shall they take, however? From whom should I grant a likeness? I'll have to ponder it.

There is much to do, after all. Very ... soon.

...If you'll excuse me, Brunhild has become quite impatie- [There is a messy line here, as if his arm was pulled. The homunculus is busy tugging on his sleeve.]

Gods, what a relief! The old bag is dead! Ooooh, Lezard, I could just eat you up! Thank you, thank you, thank you! )

[ooc: Sight/Touch crystal. Cut text is a line Mystina actually gives before the memory I'm writing here. She's almost as twisted as he is. *Plops into bed*]

As entertaining as it is, I bid my employees to continue business as usual.

It would appear that the music has not entirely left my being...

There are patients to treat, medicines to mix, and bandages that are in dire need of changing, especially in the hotter weather.

...Why every door, I wonder?

[ooc: Lezard got a memory crystal, which I will write up later tonight. His punishment is 48 hours of not having a teleportation spell, but every door will be locked to him. To pass through any door, a musical cue begins and he must ... dance for them in this fashion. The Medics will be treated to this until Saturday evening. Laugh at him.]

It has quickly come to the attention of myself and staff that there is a strange epidemic occurring as of this morning. Thus far, this ailment is not fatal, but it is severely discomforting. The symptoms recorded include:

-Itchy bumps upon the skin

-Fever

-Fatigue

It is highly advised not to scratch. Not only will it leave scars, but the fluid within the bumps can spread the disease, as can coughing, sneezing, and direct contact with the infected. Face masks are highly recommended to prevent spreading the infection, and the medics will be happy to issue you one upon request.

To ease the itch, Medic Island also carries calamine lotion and oatmeal bath formulas. If you cannot afford either of those, a careful washing regimen in a bath with a little vinegar added to the water can also alleviate the itching.

Any further questions can be answered here. That is all.

A double whammy. )

[ooc: Sight and Sound memory crystal. Yes, hamsters exist in Valkyrie Profile, and yes they kill you in one go by stampeding you. He'll be hearing 'fight the power' in his head whenever he removes the (utterly funky) glasses for the next week. Row row. And yeah, 'ham-ha' is the hamtaro language for hello. I hate myself. XD]

Hmm. I thought my leg was aching a little bit, and here I thought it was the large amount of alcohol I consumed last night. I'm sure you all hear those noises, hm?

I will personally refuse to wait for them to arrive, even if it sounds more entertaining to escape as hell rains from above. Begin the evacuation as planned to the Wilderness, or you'll be eaten alive by our new guests.

[Here, he draws what appears to be a giant ant, and scribbles a stick figure next to it just to show how big they are.]

I'll be coming in to the clinic shortly to oversee the evacuation and take stock of our antivenom stores. If we are low, I will request the accompaniment of an adventurer to seek and destroy one of the scout ants to replenish what was lost last year.

I will join the Guides in moving the cocoons when I see to it that the Medics and patients are moving to safety at a proper pace. Hopefully, our guests will not arrive early and decide to indulge in ... appetizers.

[Added later.] Awaiting a report that the Wilderness is a safe zone. That's the signal. Medics, proceed with patient evacuation.

Well, between being trapped between wooden bosoms and two over-sized individuals causing a racket, I think I've had my fill for the month. Wouldn't you agree?

More individuals were stuck in the elevator, I see. How fascinating... do tell me your accounts, won't you? My particular experience was quite entertaining - and slightly painful - but I would take a joy in learning yours!

...Cross. It has come to my attention that you are quite the Poker player. Would you mind spending a lunch break or two demonstrating this talent? Justice is a fine chess player and I enjoy our sessions, but I have need of a fresh face now and then. You understand, don't you?

I have also begun to grow frustrated with whoever continues taking the GOOD muffins out of the basket in the clinic in the morning. You test my patience

...Hmm, and I suppose this leaves out those more attuned to the arcane.

For those of you who feel so inclined to throw fireballs at attackers than swing a knife or fire a gun, I would be the one to speak to. I can teach the magic that I know, but any spells you happen to remember are those you'll just have to hone on your own. Do apply within, won't you?

This also applies to my students. Whether you choose to take up the teachings of the others or remain with me is entirely in your hands.

[Added a few minutes later.] That was a lovely little surge. I must say I'm impressed~

It's sugar!

While at first I thought it could be silkworm leavings, it appears to be some sort of spun sugar. My plans of beginning a silk empire have gone up in sweet, color flames. What a shame!

The colors are rather boresome, this pink and blue, but it doesn't stop me from ingesting it.

I may have eaten too much; I cannot sit still. Then again, have I ever~?

The stifling of powers while across the bridge to that foreign island is not an exaggeration. Seeing as I enjoy my magic, I will remain on this side of the fence.

If my students are still willing, I would like to continue the courses. Surely you've been practicing your Fire Lance... correct?

Final exam is Sunday, the 25th of January. I will decide upon a scheduled time and place for the exam this weekend.

For now, so much to do~

I hope you haven't cheated and moved the pieces.

I have completed the autopsy on our unfortunate friend, and here are the possibilities in how this individual expired. Let's see here...

Cut for the squeamish. )

Curious, is it not? If any investigators wish to ask me anything else, they are free to do so.

The Wilderness is ... entertaining at best. If you do not mind, Edensphere, I would greatly enjoy a stroll without particular little bits of information being shoved into my face unhindered!

'Tis a shame, however, that it seems fit to point out that I am not the most saintly person.

I like to think of myself as a most pleasant individual.

I would also like to point out that, as the youth would say, "neener neener, I have completely owned you this match, Justice, neener neener."

That is all.
